Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Experienced in quality management frameworks and standards such as CMMI, ITIL, and ISO
  • Self-starter, detail oriented with strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to drive implementation; influence and promote organizational change
  • Ability to develop and deliver instructional guides and live training on processes and process assets
  • Ability to demonstrate patience while quickly adapting to changing priorities, requirements, and challenging environments
  • Experienced with SharePoint and Microsoft Office, including Excel at an intermediate to advanced level
  • Experienced with configuration management software
  • Ability to demonstrate high integrity and sensitivity when working with or distributing sensitive data
  • Ability to develop and deliver agendas, plans, processes, process assets, and reports on schedule
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust level security clearance

Required Certifications

  • ITIL Foundations
  • Intermediate ITIL Certification in any one of the service lifecycle or service capability streams

Desired Certifications

  • Multiple ITIL Intermediate level and/or Practitioner
  • Certified CMMI Associate or Professional
  • Certified Internal Auditor or equivalent

The candidate must be able to travel to client sites and pass the required background investigations to obtain the appropriate clearance.

Responsibilities

The QA Process Analyst will perform activities across and throughout our development and service lifecycles in support of corporate and program quality management of established policies, processes, procedures and applicable standards (ISO, CMMI, ITIL, PMBoK).  The qualified candidate will possess strong foundational and progressive knowledge in industry standard Quality Assurance (QA) and Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) best practices.

 

The QA Process Analyst will be a member of corporate Quality Assurance department, supporting the organization, its programs, and proposal efforts, reporting directly to IntelliDyne’s Director of Quality and must be knowledgeable in CMMI and ITIL service management frameworks as well as industry best practices. They will support Corporate QA initiatives as appropriate (i.e., CMMI Level 3 assessment, ISO re-certifications, etc.); may participate as a SCAMPI Team Member during SCAMPI B/A maturity level assessments, and ISO Internal Audits.

 

The QA Process Analyst must have experience in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of business processes and process assets. The candidate must be able to initiate, develop, document, and implement plans and procedures for process improvement, and develop and deliver process training, ensuring quality assurance for organizational standard processes and IT programs, projects, and defined work activities. The QA Process Analyst is also expected to maintain the corporate Risk Register, gather and analyze data, develop and deliver reports on schedule, prepare meeting agendas and minutes, assess the implementation and execution of processes for effectiveness and efficiency and identify areas of improvements, in addition to performing the following activities:

 

Quality Assurance

  • Perform pre-audit planning and preparation activities
  • Conduct internal process, work product and service audits by evaluating software development and service performance and deliverables against process documentation, project schedule, and quality standards.
  • Perform a variety of technical and administrative activities related to the function of QA, including, but not limited to, scheduling, checklist development, report writing, facilitating root cause/lessons learned analysis, and internal/external presentations.
  • Analyzes, compiles, and reports on findings of non-compliance and provides recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify, log, escalate, and track issues, lessons learned, non-conformances, and corrective actions to closure
  • Identify opportunities for improvements, including the review and assessment of lessons learned
  • Work with corporate, program management, and operations staff in developing and maintaining documented plans, procedures and other process assets

Knowledge Management

  • Capture, gather and analyze data and store information
  • Analyze and report various measures to program and corporate management.
  • Provide scheduled and ad-hoc reports as requested

Change Management

  • Evaluate change proposals to ensure related configuration items are addressed
  • Work with corporate, program, and operational managers to embed process, procedure, and practice changes
  • Support program Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Emergency CAB meetings
  • Establish change model and produce standard change templates
  • Conduct post implementation review of authorized and implemented changes

Configuration Management

  • Create and track configuration change proposals
  • Work with subject matter experts to ensure proposed configuration items (CIs) and CI modifications are correctly identified and documented for submittal to the change management process
  • Maintain information about CIs, CI relationships, CI traceability and status

Risk Management

  • Identify, log, track, and report risks and associated mitigation and contingency plans developed by risk owners
  • Provide recommendations for improvement to risk management framework
  • Assist in institutionalizing risk management best practices and implementation throughout the organization and on the program
