Title: Compliance (SCCM) System Administrator

Location: Ft Sam Houston, TX


  • Minimum 3 years experience with Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
  • Experience working with SCCM 2007 and SCCM 2012
  • Strong understanding of SCCM with advanced knowledge of application deployment, patch management, operating system deployment, client and server maintenance, troubleshooting, and reporting
  • Experience creating advertisements, collections, packages, applications within SCCM
  • Must be able to troubleshoot day to day operations, performing monitor and tuning system performance, and providing administration, configuration, installation, deployment and maintenance.
  • Must be able to work on-call as specific and weekends
  • 8570 Compliance IAT Level II or higher (Security+, SSCP, or CCNA-Security active certification required)
  • Experience supporting, implementing, and managing a windows workstation (desktop\laptop) deployment (Windows 7 / Windows 10)

Preferred Qualifications & Education:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field desired
  • Experience working within a process improvement environment such as CMMI desired
  • Experience with ESXi hosts preferred
  • Familiarity with ACAS and DISA STIGs
  • Customer focused with dedication to customer satisfaction
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Team-oriented and able to operate with minimal supervision 
  • Active DoD Clearance strongly preferred


  • Day to day administration of SCCM environment to include engineering new solutions as needed
  • Desktop application management and deployment
  • Recommend and implement application and database solutions and enhancements to ensure an improvement in system reliability and performance
  • Providing technical guidance to SCCM team and customer
  • Provide Tier 3 support
  • Server and workstation client management
  • Creating and updating technical documentation as required
  • Team-oriented and able to operate with minimal supervision
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a project-based team environment
  • Experience with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).


This position will support, monitor and maintain an IT infrastructure consisting of Windows platforms.


You will be a member of a Network Operations team of system and network administrator, and enterprise Subject Matter Experts located in the San Antonio, TX area. You will be expected to share time with the other System Administrators in providing on-call 24x7 support and there will be some after hours and weekend responsibilities expected.


  • Perform application patches, updates and tech bulletins in the production environment
  • Assist Systems Lead with related tasks as required
  • Assist Network Administrators to maintain the environment as required
