Job Title: Senior Vice President, Business Development

Location: Fairfax, VA

IntelliDyne is seeking a SVP of Business Development who can identify potential deals and develop the tactics and teams needed to bring them to fruition. This executive will need to actively lead the business development function in an effective, aggressive manner, from identification stage through capture and proposal. At the same time, this executive is also expected to be a contributor to the management of the company as a whole and as a member of the senior management team. This role will be reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for the overall management of the Company’s business development organization.




  • 15 years plus of business development and proposal support experience
  • A solid understanding of Company’s market: products, players, technologies, and Government contacts, including Contracting Officers,  in relevant markets including DoD, DoJ, HHS, NASA, and DHS (HHS success is a plus).
  • A history of managing Business Development teams to successful outcomes--exceeding objectives.
  • Proven track record of contracts won with a total contract value of > $50 MM
  • Successful task order win rate of >30% on IDIQ vehicles
  • Managing capture and proposal teams utilizing Shipley (modified) methodology
  • A Bachelor’s degree required




  • Serve as a key member of the executive team that sets the company’s strategic direction.
  • Spearhead business development initiatives that are consistent with the company’s overall strategy.
  • Manage multiple business and strategic initiatives focused on growth.
  • Develop and manage revenue generation and strategic partnerships.
  • Manage a business development team consisting of BD Directors, Opportunity research specialists, capture and proposal teams.
  • Manage complex contract negotiation and work with legal counsel as required.
  • Maintain and grow a pipeline of opportunities that align with the strategic and annual objectives of the company
  • Drive gate reviews to ensure progression of opportunities.
  • Contribute to the brand of the company through speaking engagements and active participation in relevant associations
  • Be the driving force in the development of the work ethic, culture and values of the business development team. Through personal example, establish the style and approach which will characterize the Company’s dealings with the marketplace.
