  • Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or relevant certifications and additional work experience)
    • 1+ years related experience. * Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
    • Ability to obtain Security+ certification within 6 months 
    • Knowledge of WAN and LAN architectures, MPLS, ATM, OC3, T1, E1, DS3, E3
    • Working knowledge of utilization of AMX or Crestron control panel
    • Must possess good hardware, network operating systems and troubleshooting skills
    • Familiar with Cisco IOS for switches and routers
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
    • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
    • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practice
    • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
    • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

    The Junior Technician is responsible for providing tier 1 support for development and coordination of meetings/events

    and video conferencing. He/she supports strategic business relationships of DHA staff. He/she will interact regularly

    with each supported team, to assure compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.

    The junior technician is expected to demonstrate technical expertise on conferencing or AV periphery, he/she is

    expected to demonstrate professional behavior consistent with IntelliDyne values in all interactions and alignment with

    the business goals and the architectural standards established by management. 

    • Support video conferencing solutions for the connectivity of all DHHQ remote offices, technology centers and facilities
    • Perform configuration, maintenance, availability and performance activities and assessments of mobile devices and wireless infrastructure
    • Assist with the Documentation of mobility and conferencing solutions. Assist migrating solutions from development and testing to production
    • Cross train with the End user support Teams such DHA IT Call Center AND Desk side support
    • Coordinate with Team to ensure rapid response times and fallow-up with customers
    • Provide technical guidance and assist customers in formulating solutions for their mobility and conferencing needs
    • Maintain knowledge of current trends and developments and provide recommendations to IT Operations management on technologies and issues to build better solutions that support and drive business decisions
    • Assist in creating training plans, standard operation
    • Process customer orders, prepare correspondence, and fulfill customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction
    • Provide Technical support to end users on a variety of issues
    • Identify, research and resolve technical Problems
    • Respond to telephone calls, email, and personnel requests from technical support
