  • Qualifications

    • Minimum 2 years of related professional experience
    • DoD Public Trust with the ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance
    • 8570 IAT level 2 Compliance (i.e. Security+, or equivalent active certification)
    • Experience with, PHP, and Drupal development
    • Experience with HTML 5
    • Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator
    • Strong design sense and an ability to produce not just layouts, but key design elements such as logos and icons to represent sometwhat abstract concepts
    • An understanding of the basic principles of Section 508 Compliance
    • Experience dealing with cross-browser compatibility issues, particularly writing fallback code where necessary to support older versions of Internet Explorer
    • An understanding of security upgrades, patching, and end-user management
    • A relevant environmental computing technical certification such as Drupal or MCPD

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Understanding of User Experience Analysis and of the production of wireframes
    • Understanding of the limits and capabilities of various web technologies, particularly Javascript
    • Experience interfacing with clients to gather and refine requirements
    • Experience building Responsive web projects using industry recognized best practices and modular CSS
    • An understanding of the principles and techniques of Responsive Web Design and the use of media queries
    • An understanding of the best practices of writing clean, lean, semantic HTML and table-less CSS layouts
    • Experience working in a DoD environment responding to scan findings and complying with security policies
    • Enterprise content management experience including configuring views, rules, workflows, forms, templates, and other configurable web features
    • Experience with server hardening, upgrades, and patches a plus


    IntelliDyne has a fully-funded position for a Web Developer with a solid design portfolio and an understanding of UX/UI best practices, as well as web technologies to work as part of a web development team to support the Defense Center of Excellence. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who has the desire to excel as a Web designer and front-end developer. Responsibilities will also include constructing web pages, based either on their own designs or those of another designer, using the latest elements of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.  Experience or familiarity with, J2EE, Drupal, or other content management systems is a plus. The developer will work with a small team and clients to produce layouts and designs that meet the requirements for a given project.   

    • Maintaining and developing websites using a variety of technologies including:
    • HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
    • Vignette and Drupal Content Management Systems
    • ColdFusion
    • .NET
    • Weblogic
    • Verity Search engine
    • Performing content updates
    • Ensuring compliance with Section 508 regulation
    • Documenting and maintaining written procedures for design, test and implementation of web projects
    • Being able to perform light server administration such as system patches, ensuring upgrade compatibility, and enforcing security policies is desired, but not required
